How We Determine the Cost of Your Project

The first step in our process is to assess your hardwood flooring. We will carefully inspect areas of high traffic to determine if any major repairs need to be made as part of the process. The current finish and condition of the wood are included in this initial check. Once we have done this, we can provide you with a cost estimate for the job.

State-of-The-Art GREENGUARD System Safely Restores Your Floor…

We utilize state-of-the-art cleaning techniques for sanding and refinishing hardwood floors, including oak. The GREENGUARD system we use has been used for almost a century and has safely restored the flooring of Westminister Cathedral and professional sporting arenas across the country. You can trust the same high-quality service for the floors in your home!

Average Cost to Refinish Hardwood Floors

The average cost of the job will depend on multiple factors, including the amount of flooring you need to have sanded and refinished. The degree of damage and products used by previous service companies can also impact your final cost. Our contract will inform you of everything you need to know about the financial obligations for your floor restoration.

GREENGUARD Creates Virtually NO Airborne Dust Particles In Your Home

The GREENGUARD process is certified for indoor air quality. The system creates virtually no airborne dust particles, which makes preparation and completion much easier. You don’t have to worry about dust accumulating in your vents or other hidden places in your home. Unlike some other cleaning and restoration systems, there is no need to hang plastic over your furniture and walls in order to protect your belongings.

If your floor is in good condition but needs a little lift, we can revive it within a few hours. Once we have removed the major debris, we will use a professional machine to deep clean the entire floor, including hard to reach areas that you can’t get to normally. You can go about your business without leaving the house and enjoy the new floor finish by the end of the day.

On the other hand, if the finish of your floor is damaged, our technicians will need to strip the current finish and replace it. This rejuvenation process will take a little bit longer than the previous one. However, you still do not have to vacate the building thanks to the products we use in our restoration process. We will deep clean the entire floor before applying a new finish to it. You will need to leave the floors alone overnight to dry completely.

Complete Refinishing

The third option we provide is a complete refinishing. This is the most extensive and time-consuming of our offerings. However, your floor will look practically new again once we have completed the job. If you have major damage to the floor, including deep scratches, this is the best alternative. When the finish is discolored, faded or otherwise no longer attractive, it is time to refinish the floor.

With our refinishing process, we will begin by sanding the floors to remove all of the current finish. Then, we can use a stain if you choose. We follow with a new sealer and finish to ensure that the floor is impeccable. The process can take a few days, during which time you and your household should not walk on it. However, you can still safely go about your day while our technicians work on your flooring.

The Bona Systems uses environmentally safe products with low-VOCs. It is safe for you and your family, including pets. If anyone in your family has allergies or chemical sensitivities, you can request a copy of the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and take it to your physician to ensure the safety of every member of your household.

Although you might be tempted to restore and repair your hardwood floors by yourself, this can often be a mistake. Unless you have been trained in the use of the materials and equipment involved, you could end up damaging your flooring. Another thing to consider is the amount of time you will need to invest. If you begin the project and are unable to complete it successfully, you will still need professional services to refinish the flooring. If you have damaged the wood or created other problems, the price of your professional sanding and refinishing can rise.

Each member of our team has been fully trained and certified to restore your floors to their former glory. At the same time, we can improve the look by changing the stain or sheen to please you. Our entire staff is dedicated to bringing the best customer service to you at every step of the process.

If you are concerned about the way your hardwood floors look in your home, contact our offices today. You can arrange a meeting with one of our expert technicians. They will provide you with a complete assessment of the work that you need to be completed, along with a written estimate. We can also discuss your options, such as stain colors. You are sure to appreciate the high-quality, environmentally-friendly products and services that we use throughout the process. Let us help you restore the aesthetic value of your home by contacting us for an estimate for your hardwood floors!
